Random Sharing

There are three things I’d like to share with you/write about.

First off: in the world of MOVIES, do yourself a favor and see: 500 Days of Summer and the Ugly Truth.  IGNORE the terrible reviews the Ugly Truth is getting.  It’s some of the most fun you’ll have at the movies this summer.

Secondly: in the world of MUSIC, go to NPR.org, search David Lynch, click the first link, and listen to the new album NOT COMING OUT called, “Dark Night of the Soul.”  It’s one of the most fulfilling albums you’ll ever hear.

Thirdly: again in the world of MUSIC, I just heard two new Weezer songs.  And it’s safe to say they’re hotter than today’s 85 degree weather.  Weezer is becoming definition college rock.  Put ‘em on in the background of a party and you’ll the party will rock all night.

Love.

Together we are explorers searching for fantasy and romance, lusting for the treasures of the world both physical and metaphysical, thirsting for fine wine and breathtaking sex, desiring knowledge of the unknown and wisdom of the known, and as always… demanding progress and success with all that we do.

Don’t Sleep Till The Music Stops

Sometimes there are days where I feel so low- I overanalyze things needlessly and get thoughts in my head that just shouldn’t be.  It’s an irrational mood… yet it happens every now and again.  But then there are days like today- where everything is good- where every word seems to come out right from your mouth- where every step feels like the most perfect, most enjoyable step you’ve ever taken.  It’s days like today that leave you smiling as you wrap up for bed.  It’s a lover’s nightly sentiments that make you feel special and give you purpose.  I may not be writing eloquently right now… but I’m writing with a smile on my face.  I’m leading a damn fine life… and it aims only to get better…

Smile, baby.

Longing

Dear God,

I am meant for so much more than this.

Give me back the month of June.
